Welcome to the new U.S. Virgin Islands Fast Ferry Service. Aboard the Salacia -- a state-of-the-art, high speed catamaran -- service between Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas and Christianstead, St. Croix will take just 75 minutes.  The Salacia, our high-speed catamaran, is designed to maximize space, is equipped with service and amenities, and is streamlined to reach speeds up to 39 knots, for faster service between the islands.  Uses state-of-the-art radar, fire suppressant systems, Global Positioning Systems and engine room monitoring systems. Is powered by four diesel engines producing 78hp which drive Kamwea water jets. Each jet displaces 20,000 gallons of sea water per minute with a total of 100,000 gallons/minute at full speed.

  • The Salacia carries up to 600 people at a time

  • Our boat has automated active motion ride control system to provide a quick and smooth ride

  • We have cushioned airline-style seating, air-conditioning, audiovisual system, gourmet snack bar, and full cash bar
